Wood Uses - Pallets

Wood pallets -- large shipping containers -- are typically an incredible waste of resources. Of all the hardwood logged in the United States, nearly 50 percent is used for pallets which are freuently used only once and then landfilled. Wood pallets are heavy, bulky, difficult to customize, expensive to repair and to ship.
