Alternatives - Agricultural Fibers  

Agricultural fibers and residues are a good replacement for wood products. Some of the agricultural fibers used as wood replacements include bamboo, esparto grass, flax, hemp, abaca, kenaf, cotton, bagasse, cereal crop straw (wheat, rye, barley, oats and rice), ramie and jute.
